Ruth Scott will not be having any bridesmaids when she gets married
Ruth Scott will not be having any bridesmaids when she marries Rob Morgan later this year.
The 2FM presenter and the son of the late Dermot Morgan will celebrate with friends and family in the Bunratty Castle Hotel in July.
Ruth doesn’t want to feel panicked or nervous on the day, so she is going to go it alone without any ladies standing beside her on the altar.
Chatting exclusively to RSVP Magazine, she revealed her decision: “I am not going to have any bridesmaids because I don’t want people faffing around me on the day because I don’t want to get totally freaked out and panicked.
“The groomsmen can dance amongst themselves, a Will Smith style or just dab in the corner.
While she may be the queen of music every Saturday and Sunday, she and Rob have yet to decide on a song for the first dance as husband and wife.
“I will be sweating the night before, every time we hear a mad song on the radio we joke that it could be our first dance, like Switch by Will Smith or the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme tune.
“We have an idea for a song, but it has been done to death. I won’t say what it is just in case we decide to use it,” she said.
